About the Event

In this 4-hour training session, you will learn the critical skills necessary to manage a greeter/screener program at your Shul. Training topics include:

  • Sources of intelligence, and how to adjust your security posture based on current intelligence reports
  • Greeter post location and post options
  • Greeter teams – two greeters, armed security, or off duty police
  • Greeter equipment- lethal and non-lethal options
  • Reading body language and micro expressions
  • Detecting hidden weapons
  • Soft interrogation skills and tactics
  • Methods of denial, legal authority, use of force
  • Removing someone from the facility, legal authority, and use of force
  • Dealing with a threat inside the building
